Though it does have problems taking care of bulkier Psychic-types.Īnd with just a decent base Speed of 100, there are still a lot of Pokémon that can outspeed it. STAB moves like High Jump Kick and Zen Headbutt are solid move choices for Mega Medicham. But it’s still fairly easy to take down, so it can be helpful in a regular ORAS playthrough, but perhaps not as useful in PvP. With its base Attack doubled, Mega Medicham is one of the strongest wallbreakers in the game. When Medicham Mega Evolves into Mega Medicham, it changes its ability to Pure Power, which doubles a Pokémon’s Attack stat. Most Mega Evolutions also change the Pokémon’s ability, which lasts until the battle concludes. Mega Stones like the Medichamite are held items that allow certain Pokémon to Mega Evolve, granting them a massive boost to their base stats. The location of the Medichamite Is Mega Medicham Good? Mega Medicham’s Pure Power increases the damage of its Physical moves Step 13: In the top-right corner of the room, interact with the sparkling item directly beside the memorial monument to obtain the Medichamite. We want to reach the fourth floor, so make your way over to the left. The exit on the south hallway leads to the mountain’s summit outside, while the staircase on the left leads to the fourth floor of the building. Step 10: In this room, there are two exits. The staircase on the right side of the room Step 9: Climb up another set of stairs to reach floor #3. Step 8: On the second floor, make your way toward the right side of the room. The staircase on the left side of the room Step 7: Climb the staircase here near the Hex Maniac to reach the second floor. Step 6: Once inside, follow the hallway heading north, then walk toward the northwest side of the room. Step 5: Disembark at the cavern-shaped hole in the mountain to enter Mt. Step 4: Follow the path heading south, then wrap around going east until Mt. Step 3: Use HM03 Surf to go south on Route 122. Step 2: Turn and go down the stairs when you see them, and keep going south to use this route’s south exit onto water. Step 1: From the Route 121 sign, start following the path heading east. If you’re all set to get started, fly over to Route 121 and we’ll guide you to Mt. That is not a requirement here, and you will only need to reach the fourth floor of Mt. Tip: The Medichamite is not like most Mega Stones in ORAS that require you to finish the Cave of Origin event first. And on the fourth and final floor, Medicham’s Mega Stone will be in the top-right corner of the room. On the third floor, there’s an exit that leads to the mountain’s summit. Each floor contains various trainers ready to battle you. You’ll also need a Pokémon that knows HM03 Surf since you’ll need to Surf on Route 122 to access Mt. You’ll find the Mega Stone in the top-right corner of the room, directly to the right side of the memorial monument. Medicham’s Mega Stone (Medichamite) can be found on the fourth floor of the building in Mt.

Vizio V-Series VizioĪvailable in two configurations, both with 5-inch wireless subwoofers, the new V-Series soundbars are for people who want the benefits of surround sound without the extra expense of a full Dolby Atmos setup. Bluetooth, dedicated remote control, and Voice Assistant Input round out the M21’s features. Its two HDMI inputs support HDMI ARC and Dolby Vision passthrough. Like the V-Series below, the M21 gets dialogue enhancement plus DTS Virtual:X. Inside are six drivers, two of which are dedicated 3-inch subwoofers for deep low-end sound. The highly affordable M-Series M21 incorporates all of its drivers into one slender bar. Hopefully it’s just a temporary out-of-stock situation. However, as of December 15, Costco’s site is showing a “product not found” message. When Vizio advised us of the M51’s availability, was indeed showing the model as available. It’s compatible with both DTS:X and Dolby Atmos, but with these 3D sound formats, the height channels have been virtualized. Released on December 11 as a Costco exclusive, the M-Series 5.1 (M51a-H6) is a 36-inch soundbar with a total of 9 drivers plus a 6-inch wireless subwoofer and two discrete surround speakers that can be placed at the rear of your viewing area. Vizio’s M-Series soundbars are for those who who are looking for very good sound quality and features, but aren’t quite ready to splash out for the Elevate’s higher price. M51a-H6: $300, available now as a Costco exclusive. With a total of 18 drivers spread across 10 channels and a maximum sound pressure level of 107dB, we expect to be mightily impressed by the Elevate when we finally get it in for a listen. These features are a good indication that even with a flagship product like the Elevate, Vizio has maintained its reputation for outstanding value when you consider that similar products from LG and Samsung cost many hundreds of dollars more. Also on tap is Bluetooth and Chromecast for wireless audio streaming and Vizio’s new Voice Assistant Input. What you couldn’t see in previous press photos is that the Elevate isn’t just a tricked-out soundbar - it’s also a full 5.1.4 system with a dedicated 8-inch wireless subwoofer and surround speakers, each with their own built-in up-firing drivers. So, how much does the average Costco actually spend? Numerator data shared with Nexstar also appears to indicate that Costco’s average transaction is approximately double the average Target or Walmart transaction, which hover at around $50 and $54 bucks respectively, per the company’s findings.īut Numerator’s spending estimates relied on data provided by the firm’s own Receipt Hog app, meaning those “averages” are based only a small percentage of total Costco transactions. Recent data from Numerator, a market-research firm headquartered in Chicago, had suggested that the average Costco shopper spends just over $100 per visit for a total of around $3,000 per year, according to updated 2023 data first reported by Business Insider. But before Costco members even set foot inside the store, their wallets need to be prepared to bear the immediate burden of buying in bulk - which sometimes means plunking down a more substantial dollar amount. Finally, I am getting 8 days of battery live from the Vivoactive 4. In theory, they are night and day, so you will want to get accustomed to the display. It seems the movement to get the back light on (similar to the movement to activate the OLED screen on my Galaxy Watch) is far better, maybe a better accelerometer? If you are transitioning from an OLDE to a trans-reflective display, give the trans-reflective display a few weeks before making a decision that you like the OLED better. Try cutting the grass with the screen always on - fantastic. The display, while it can't compare to the OLED displays for resolution, the clarity in direct light is excellent. Two buttons, far better than pressing the screen on the VA3M. The watch is extremely light (like the VA3M). All that said, I purchased the Vivoactive 4. I also like the details of Garmin Connect over Samsung Health. I definitely like the fact that the VA3M connects to my cadence and speed sensors (Galaxy Watch does not). After wearing my Galaxy Watch Active 2 and the VA3M for a few days (one on each arm), I soon realized that I prefer the always-on trans-reflective display better. I also own a few Samsung watches and really like the clarity compared to the trans-reflective display of my VA3M. The screen PPI is the same as the the VA3M (282 PPI). I was torn with upgrading to the Venu (same size as the VA3M) or the bigger Vivoactive 4. Blue nails connect two objects but are loose and can rotate. Yellow nails connect to most other objects, particularly red-nailed ones, and keep an object's placement, but can move. Red nails keep an object firmly grounded and will not move, but it can rotate on the anchor. A Shaman can 'anchor' or connect planks and boxes to other world objects or summoned objects with various-colored nails. The Shaman can do so by summoning objects such as planks, boxes, anvils, spirit, and balloons to create buildings or contraptions such as bridges to cross gaps or various other obstacles. Doing so will award the Shaman with "saves" for each mouse who completes the map, which are recorded onto the player's profile. The general objective of the Shaman is to help the other mice obtain the cheese and bring it back to the hole. When a player reaches the highest score on the scoreboard, they will become a Shaman in the next map involving one. Dying adds one point to a player's score on the scoreboard, no matter what time in the game it is or the cause of death. Maps have a general time limit of two minutes, at which time a new map is loaded. Players are also given extra recognition in their stats for finishing first when there are eleven or more players in the room. Collecting cheese is recorded into a player's permanent stats when there are about 2 or more players in the room. Bonus points are awarded for players who place first, second or third. Players are awarded points on a scoreboard that is updated in real-time. The number of cheese and mouse holes varies between maps. Players control a mouse with the arrow keys or the WASD keys to run, duck, jump and perform various techniques, such as wall jumping, long jumping, turn arounds, and corner jumping. The main objective of the game is to collect a piece of cheese placed in at least one location on a map. Hearts indicate a mouse who has brought the cheese to the hole. Bubbles indicate a mouse who falls off the map. Mice racing around a user-created map to figure out how to get to the cheese. Melibellule produces the game's artwork and graphics, while Tigrounette programs the game's functions and mechanics. Transformice (sometimes abbreviated to TFM or T4M) is an online independent multiplayer free-to-play platform video game, created by French game designers, known by their aliases Melibellule and Tigrounette. Then, after various tests, he finally figured out that AppluaseAudio used a 100V transformer, which would be fine if used in Japan, but wholly inadequate for the US. Anyway, even he was, at first, stumped as to what was going on. A real gem of a guy, I’m thinking in the same way as Déjà vu Audio’s resident Vietnamese amp-maker. He is in his late sixties, trained in Old World Vietnam, and knows his way around any circuit, tube or solid state without need for schematics. Took it to my whiz of an electronics repair man (who actually makes his own SET and PP amps, by the way). I opened it up to see a small capacitor in the PSU section that basically had exploded, with some wax from the transformers seemingly oozing out from the holes (where wires are routed) when inspected inside. Then one day, the fuse popped again and I smelled something had burned. I replaced them with some new production equivalent ones (5AR4), and it was good for a while. But then the two tube rectifiers burned out. Fuses popped changed them out, ready to go again. I noticed some electrical quirks early on, like on my third week of use. On some music, the PX300B sounds a bit too “damped”, whereas the Chinese may have some brightness, but it is also replete with more liveliness and “jump”. Doctorjohn in an earlier response to a comment mentioned that changing out the stock 300Bs is not an urgent need, and I would have to agree. I then proceeded to get a pair of Gold Lion PX300B to replace the Chinese 300Bs that came stock with the amp. These gave the amp some of the inviting warmth in tone that I was looking for. So I scored a pair of RCA 6F5/6GV8 (obscure tubes = low price) and put those in. Further reading educated me on the 6F3 tube actually being the correct equivalent one. The available volume was very insufficient, and I don’t even listen that loud. I initially got some Russian 6F3 tubes from eBay as my research concluded that those were equivalent tubes. I proceeded to break it in and noticed some tinniness to the sound which I attributed to the stock tubes, especially the front end. When I got the amp, I plugged it in using beater speakers first, in case something goes awry. I actually was initially interested in the 211 version but was apprehensive about the higher voltages involved and, as you will see later, my feelings were validated. Price, even with the higher shipping cost, was very reasonable. I believe Shindo uses something similar or exactly the same configuration. I immediately liked the styling cues from old Western Electric amps (mine even have a Western Electric logo plate on the front by special request, instead of the stock one), liked that it has a choke, tube rectifiers, and also the use of 6F3 front-end tubes instead of the usual 6SN7. So back to the present, I was browsing Aliexpress, and happened upon the AppluaseAudio 300B amplifier. What led me to sell them before was, I think I got tired of the preponderance of second-harmonic distortion which fattens up everything, albeit making everything sound mellifluous. and custom-made mono’s using Tango transformers) for quite a while now. An average speed should not be confused with a “minimum speed” that some employers may use as a job requirement – an applicant must exceed the stated minimum speed. Generally, a ten key speed of 8,000 KPH (Keystrokes Per Hour) is considered an average 10-key speed. Although 8,000 KPH is a good 10 key speed a good typist should have minimum 10,000 to 12,000 KPH speed with 98% accuracy. It is measured in Keystrokes per Hour (KPH). Ten key typing is a vital part of typing and every typist should know 10 key typing. What is a good 10 key speed? A ten key speed above 8,000 KPH (Keystrokes Per Hour) is higher than the average score, and over 10,000 KPH is usually considered a high speed (when it is achieved with zero errors). Over 10,000 KPH can be considered a high speed in 10 key data entry. In ten key, since speed is measured in keystrokes and only with one hand, a speed of 8,000 Keystrokes Per Hour (8,000 KPH) is considered an average 10-key speed. 45 – 50 will be considered fast by most average observers. 40–45 will be above average or a good typist. 18 years: 779 in German words.ģ0–35 wpm will be considered slow. How many wpm is 4000 keystrokes per hour? If you ever hear the term ’10 key by touch’, this just means that you are able to type without looking at the keys, this is important because if you have to look at the keys every time it will slow you down. If you’re using a laptop without a number keypad, this is your only option, unless you invest in a standalone number keypad. So every five keystrokes equal one “word.” If your keystrokes per minute total is 400, for example, then your WPM is 80.įinger placement on the top number line of your keyboard is the easiest method to master, because you split the 10 number keys, from 0 to 9, in a straight line between your fingers. The WPM measurement is based on five-letter words. It is measured in Keystrokes per Hour(KPH).

The midpalate is a sheer love letter to oak and presents a strong oak flavor in one of the most pleasant and satisfying ways we’ve seen. The midpalate of Eximo is all about oak, with the sweet vanilla and caramel notes from the entry combining with tobacco and slightly bitter dried raisin, interweaving with the oak notes with tight and impeccable integration. The journey isn’t nearly as dramatic with Eximo, but the shift is quite pleasant. As with NEO, Eximo goes on a journey from sweet and round towards dry. What’s interesting about Eximo is that it presents more oak than spice, with flavors that can be described more as deep oak, dry oak, or smokey oak than oak spice. Although the nose suggests bourbon, the entry proclaims RUM with vanilla, caramel, and toffee right there with the oak. The nose on Eximo also has a wonderful old bourbon-like quality to it, reminiscent of the character we’ve seen in 20 year old bourbons. The aromas in Eximo’s nose integrate amazingly with the sweeter notes layered in between varying levels of oak. The nose on Eximo is strong oak backed by vanilla, caramel, bananas foster, and bitter dark chocolate. In the mix are a few rums older than 10 years old (and were 1-2 years at the time of original blending), giving Eximo a total age range of 10 – 12 years. Eximo is a 10 year old rum which was blended before it was put into the barrel 10 years ago. It takes a tremendous amount of skill to do this blending BEFORE a rum is aged, and that’s what Bacardi has done with Eximo. That product must state the youngest rum in the mix, but often there are small amounts of older rums to help add dimensionality and depth. Blending after aging gives a blender a great amount of ability to balance and shape the character of a rum. Facundo Eximo Rum (40% ABV / 80 proof, $60) – a lot of aged rums are a result of blending a number of different rums together after aging into a single, unified product. The imagery used in statues, paintings, even level design have a way of giving you an uneasy feeling. The scenery of the mansion is just simply amazing, no other way to put it. Yes it has an outdated look and feel to it, but everything is masterfully done in a way to still be modern. The visuals are where I could tell it took a really talented team to put this game together. For example reading a journal entry that has a second meaning, or a character randomly mentioning something about a heart or missing piece. Not only that, but a majority of the puzzles you don’t even realize are pieces. Instead a puzzle may come together in pieces over several parts of the map, and potentially over a lengthy period of time playing. The interesting thing I found with the game is puzzles are not tied to specific rooms, or even specific areas of the mansion. Then later sitting by the door you can be wondering “how the hell do I open it?” Once it clicks everything becomes an “oh yeah!” moment, and it’s so fun. For example you are given a tool that opens a door on the other side of the map, but when you are given the tool you are left wondering what the hell it’s for. Puzzles come together via anything you interact with, read, or hear a character say. The game doesn’t have any type of hand holding instead you just need to pay attention. The puzzles are not always straightforward and a majority of the game is spent simply figuring out why something is placed the way it is, or what reason the game gave you an item. The puzzles are honestly my favorite part of the game, and it’s been a very long time since a game has done them this well. The Puzzles Will Lead You All Over The Mansion It’s hard to tell where a technical error is because the team behind the game literally ripped out every nostalgic thing about old horror titles and blended it together for one great game. Yet all of it is polished in a way that makes it clear these elements have been handled purposefully with modern audiences in mind. Tormented souls sticks with a fixed camera, older style graphics, and odd animations that are clearly evocative of older horror games. Developer: Dual Effect, Abstract DigitalĪvailable On: PS5 (October Release for PS4, Xbox One X (series X) and Nintendo Switch) If you look at Dad and ask why he likes old clunky games, this one is probably not your style. If you grew up with the thrills of the original Resident Evil, or were scared in Silent Hill, then Tormented Souls is 100% the game for you. Let me say this first: Tormented Souls isn’t for everyone. Tormented Souls blends everything we love about old-school horror so masterfully it’s been the most fun experience I’ve had in a very long time. However, what’s most important is to pay attention to the ritual that’s taking place in the Operating Room through the window. If you’ve been dying for old school survival horror, like the good ole days of Silent Hill, you might want to check out Tormented Souls. Once in the hall, take the path to the left and enter the Observation Room. The door ahead will take you to the West Wing Hall. Enter the West Wing Corridor and proceed past the elevators. With those particulars out of the way, it’s time to get down to business. Also, you’re really going to want to have the shotgun by now if you want to survive what awaits in the Operating Room.Īlright then. Just keep in mind, before you can get the hatch open, you’ll need to have already opened the Library door and restored power to the West Wing by solving the fuse puzzles. However, you’ll need to solve a puzzle and get your hands dirty before you can get your hands on this razor-sharp item. The Scalpel is found in the Operating Room. To cut through the rope, you’re going to need to get your hands on a Scalpel. Good thing Tormented Souls takes place in a hospital, where cutting implements are never far away! Sadly, your lighter can’t burn through it, so you’re going to need something sharp to cut your way through. In the Service Area next to where you obtained the Shotgun Part A, you’ll find a hatch that’s tightly secured with rope.
